Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The fatty acid and sterol composition of (i) walnut, (ii) hazelnut, (iii) almond, and (iv) avocado kernel oil are shown in tables. The main fatty acids are: linoleic 59.2-63.4% in (i) and oleic acid 79.9-82.6% in (ii), 72.0-75.8% in (iii), and 59.3% in 1 sample only of (iv). The main sterol in all 4 oils was beta-sitosterol, 87.5-94.0% on SE 30, 81.2-88.8% on OV 17.
