Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The solvent extraction of four-o'clock seed oil was performed by a single factor test, and better process conditions were determined. The physicochemical properties and fatty acid composition of four-o'clock seed oil were analyzed. The results showed that the optimal conditions were as follows:petroleum ether(boiling range from 60 ℃ to 90℃),ratio of stuff to solvent 1∶6,extraction temperature 90℃,extraction time 6 h.Under the optimal conditions the extraction rate of crude oil was 11.70%.The four-o'clock seed oil is a health vegetable oil,in which the content of stearic acid is 1.74%,total unsaturated fatty acids is 83.46% and linolenic acid is 17.87%.
