Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract Objective: To analyze the fatty acids from Syringa oblata L. Methods: The fatty acids were extracted by Soxhlet extraction, and GC-MS was used to analyze their components. Results: 13 fatty acids and 1 phytosterol were identified from S.oblata, amounting to 79.5% of the total constituents. The main components are linoleic acid(36.41%),oleic acid(15.93%),palmitic acid(7.07%),stearic acid(5.16%),arachidic acid(2.15%) and(3 β,5α,24S)-Stigmast-7-en-3-ol(9.93%). Conclusion: Unsaturated fatty acids are the main compounds in the seeds of S.oblata Lindl.,and linoleic acid and oleic acid are the main fatty acids.
