Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The oil contents of Changlin series Camellia oleifera's seeds from 11 varieties were determined, and the fatty acid compositions of the C. oleifera seeds' oil were analyzed by GC/MS. The results indicated that: the oil content was between30% and 45%, and the average oil content was 37.94%; the highest oil content was 46.41%, and the lowest oil content was22.80%. The fatty acid was mainly composed of oleic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid and other 5 kinds of fatty acid. The content of oleic acid was 71%~78.96%, and the average value was 74.82%, the standard deviation was 2.72%; the content of linoleic acid was 7.02%~14.3%, and the average value was 11.49%, the standard deviation was 2.59%; the content of palmitic acid was 8.75%~11.80%, and the average value was 9.94%, the standard deviation was 0.98%; the content of stearic acid was 1.66%~3.79%, and the average value was 2.57%, the standard deviation was 0.71%.
