In this paper,Myrica seed oil was extracted by Soxhlet method and its common physicochemical properties and fatty acids composition were studied.The result showed that the extraction ratio is 67%.The refractive index of the seed oil is 1.471,the acid value is 0.416 mg/g and the peroxide value is 0.023.Nine kinds of fatty acids have been (detected),in which main component is linolenic acid(40.36%)and the total content of the unsaturated fatty acids is (85.63%).
