The composition of fatty acids contained in the seed kernel oil of Pinus pumila Reg. was studied through the GC and GC MS. The results showed that the oil length of the seed kernel of P. pumila was 38.45%. The oil mainly consisted of oleic acid 40.7%, linoleic acid 16.9%, palmic acid 28.0%, octanoic acid 5.1%, stearic acid 3.8%, and so on. The total amount of the unsaturated fatty acids was 59.0%.
