Abstract

Fat was obtained by distillation from Foeniculum vulgare Mill. seeds, and analyzed by gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC MS)and derivation technology.Seventeen compounds were identified from its fats. The main compositions of fatty acid in Foeniculum vulgare Mill. seeds are octadec 5 enoic acid (78.56%),octodeca 6,9 dienoic acid (8.35%),hexadecanoic acid (7.26%) and octadecanoic acid (2.103%).
