Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The process variables for the supercritical carbon dioxide(SC - CO_2) extraction of Trickosanthes kirilowii Maxim seed oil was optimized by response surface methodology, and the experimental data were analyzed with Design Expert software. The composition of the crud oil was identified by gas chromatography - mass spectrometry. Results:The obtained optimum process parameters are pressure 29.75 Mpa,temperature 45.1℃,and time 175.8 min.Under the conditions, the oil yield reaches 32.82%,consistent with measured values. The extracted oil is composed of saturated fatty acids 9.41%and unsaturated fatty acids 90.59%.The abundant fatty acid components are oleic acid 22.57%,linoleic acid 39.33%,α-linolenic acid 28.23%,and palmitic acid 7.90%,additionally,7 - palmitoleic acid 0.40%,gamma - linolenic acid 0.22%,11 - eicosenoic acid 0.30%and squalene 0.33%are also detected. The optimized supercritical extraction technique for Trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim.seed oil is feasible.
