Abstract The oil of seeds of groundcherry(Physalis alkekengi L.) native in Heilongjiang was obtained by Soxhlet extraction with acetone or petroleum ether solvent, respectively. The components of the oil were analyzed and identified by GC/MS.Results: The oil yields are 20.60% for solvent acetone and 18.10% for solvent petroleum ether. In the oil extracted with acetone,5 components are detected and 4 of which, total mass fraction of 94.36%,are identified. The mass fractions of each component are linoleic acid 69.87%,oleic acid 13.38%,hexadecanoic acid 9.61%,octadecanoic acid 1.50% and unknown 5.64%.In the oil extracted by petroleum ether,4 components are detected and identified, and the mass fractions are linoleic acid 68.69%,oleic acid 15.13%,hexadecanoic acid 13.72% and octadecanoic acid 2.46%.
