In order to utilize the resource of Amygdalus tangutica,the seeds of A.tangutica were collected from Chuankou forest farm of Dingxi County,Gansu Province.The oil of seed kernel was extracted by the methods of soxhlet extraction and supercritical fluid extraction,and its composition of fatty acids was analyzed by GC and GC-MS methods.The results showed that the oil content of seed kernels of A.tangutica was high,and the higher value was up to 43.37 % by using soxhlet extraction method.The oil was comprised of 8 kinds of fatty acids,and the content of unsaturated fatty acids was 93.31 %,behenic acid,erucic acid and palmitaleic acid accounted for 75.26 %,17.72 % and 0.33 % respectively.Therefore,the kerner oil of A.tangutica had a high nutritional value and was worth to develop.
