Analyses the fatty acid components of Puntca granatum L. seed oil by GC and the oil properties by conventional methods. Oxidation test showed that a tough surface is formed when the oil left in oven at 75℃ for 4-8h. while the oil became a transparent elastic substance in oven at 110℃for 40 min. It reveals that Punica granatum seed oil is a fine drying oil which may be used in painting and other industries.
