Eurycorymbus cavaleriei seed oil was extracted by Soxhlet extraction method, and its physico-chemical property and fatty acid composition were determined. The results showed that the content of crude fat of Eurycorymbus cavaleriei kernel was 36. 42% ; the acid value, saponification value and iodine value of Eurycorymbus cavaleriei seed oil were 0. 70 mgKOH/ g, 184 mgKOH/ g and 111 gI/ 100 g, re-spectively; fourteen kinds of fatty acids were identified in Eurycorymbus cavaleriei seed oil, mainly inclu-ding oleic acid (35. 87% ), linolic acid (18. 39% ) and linolenic acid (17. 18% );the content of unsat-urated fatty acids was up to 92. 37% . Eurycorymbus cavaleriei as an exploitable oil plant resources had high utilization value.
