In order to study the morphology and fat characteristics of Firmiana platanifolia seed, 1000-grain weight, shape, moisture, crude fat and fatty acid composition of Firmiana platanifolia seed were analyzed in this article.The results showed that 1000-seed grain weight was 121.034 8 g, seed moisture and crude fat were 10.23% and 19.59% respectively.The unsat-urated fatty acids in seed, including 22.86% oleic acid and 42.43% linoleic acid, were also observed.
