Abstract The rude fatty acid extracted from wild Agastache rugosa seeds was separated and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,the relative content of different components was determined by gas chromatography area normalization method and the anti-oxidation of fatty acids in wild Agastache rugosa seeds was determined to rationally develop and utilize Agastache rugosa resources.The results showed that there were 14 components in fatty acid extracted from wild Agastache rugosa seeds,12 fatty acids were identified,the content of laurate methyl ester,butanoic acid methyl ester,myristate methyl ester,linolenate methyl ester and docosahexaenoate methyl ester was 12.17%,10.50%,10.20%,9.91% and 7.08% respectively.The extracted fatty acid from wild Agastache rugosa seeds had obvious effect of clearing away ·OH.
