Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants.
more details ...
Content of fatty acids in seeds of 1O oi1 plants in Qinghai, belonging to Rosa,Prunds and Malus respectively. have been observed. The main part of fatty acids are the typeof C18 fatty acids which include methyl octadec-9c-enoicate (C18. 1), methyl octadeca- 9c,12c - dienoicate (C18. 2) and methyl octadeca - 9c, 12c. l5c trienoicate (C,,, 3). Further re-searching the data both from reference and our test, it could be concluded that Prunus mainlycontiain C18.1, Rosa and Malus mainly contain C18, 2 and Rosa contain C18, 3 also.
