Abstract

Physicochemical property of euphorbia lathyris seed oil was systematically tested for the first time,and the composition of its fatty acid and volatile oil were also analyzed by GC-MS.It was shown that oleic acid takes the most content of the seed oil of Euphorbia lathyris,hexadecanoic acid and stearic acid next to it,their content were 8.513% and 5.523%,respectively.The higher content of the volatile oil of Euphorbia lathyris were oleic acid,linoleic acid and 9-octadecenoic acid-2-hydroxy-1-(hydroxymethyl) ethyl ester,their content were 17.747%,15.852% and 13.196%,respectively.
