Abstract

In this article the fatty acid composition in the Brassica napobrasslca D.C seed oil has been analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively by GC and GC-MS.Seven kinds of fatty acids were identified.The contents of fatty acids from the Brassica napobrasslca D.C seed oil are as follows 2.50% for palmitic acid(C16:0),16.65% for linoleic acid(C18:2),12.38% for oleic acid(Z),10.03% for oleic acid(E),8.08% for Heptadecanoic acid,16-methyl(C18:0),0.84% for 11-Eicosenoic acid,48.43% for Eicosanoc acid.
