Abstract

Several promising plant resources of Hippophae rhamnoides L.,Acer truncatum Buge,Perilla frutescens(L.)Britt.,Oenothera biennis L.,Borago officinalis L.were introduced.The growth characteristics,fatty acid composition of the oil,active ingredient and functional characteristics of these resources were described in detail.Planting the resources could not only supply the deficiency of the bulk oilseeds,and exert the advantage of special oils,but also increase the quantity of vegetable oil and improve the people's nutrition awareness and health level under the premise of returning to nature and the protection of resources.
