Oil contents of Horsfieldia tetratepala,H.glabra and H.pandurifolia were measured by Soxhlet extraction.The compositions and content of fatty acid were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) after esterification.The results showed that the kernel of three plants had more than 54% of oil content,which indicated that the three plants belonged to high oil plant.Total contents of fatty acids(20 carbon atoms) in the three oils were over 99%,which were an ideal raw material for biodiesel.
