火棘种子油理化特性研究初报_王倩 . the seed oil isolated from pyracatha fortuncana

Abstract

A percentage of 13. 78 was detected in seed oil content of Pyracatha fortuncana cultivated in Yangling, shaanxi province. Its acid number iodine number and saponification number were 3. 5, 145. 3 and 189- 3 respectively. Six kinds of fatty acid were identified, which include myristic acid, palmitic acid, palmito eic acid,oleic acid, linoleic acid and hydroxynervonic acid, and their percentages of composition were determined as follow: 13. 155, 0. 821, 11. 970, 72. 719, 1. 088, 0. 166. It's very similar to the seed oil of Gartha1nus tinctorius which is abundent in oleic acid, Obriously there is a promising prospect of development and utilization of Pyracatha fortuncana seed oil.
