Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The ultrasonic-assisted extraction of seed oils from Magnolia glabrata and Michelia chapensis in Magnoliaceae was performed by single factor test, and the fatty acid compositions were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were as follows:petroleum ether as the extraction solvent, ratio of material to solution 1:7,extraction time 40 min, extraction temperature 70℃.Under these conditions, the extraction rate of Magnolia glabrata seed oil was 14.53%,and that of Magnolia chapensis was 29.34%.GC-MS analysis revealed that the seed oils of the two plants contained palmitic acid, linoleic acid, oleic acid and stearic acid. The relative content of linoleic acid in Magnolia glabrata was 58.42%,and that in Magnolia chapensis was 64.53%.
