Abstract Based on an analysis of nutrient constituents of R.sumatranus Miq.fruit in Fujian province.The result has been shown that in the fruit the content of amino acid was 16.20 mg/g.FW,containing at least 16 kinds of amino acid.SOD was up to 329.35u/g.FW,vitamin C was 20.18mg/100g.FW.Inorganic elements are also abundant,especially Fe,Zn.The fatty acids in seed oil were analysed by GC,most of them were unsaturated fatty acids (UFA),the content of UFA is up to 91.5%,limoleic acid (63.87%),linolenic acid (20.85%).In additdon,organic acids and total sugar were also abundant in the fruit.These analysis data indicated that the fruit was of value in nourishment and in health protection,and provided important reference for exploitation and utilization of the resources of wide R.sumatranus.
