To analyze the fatty acids from Magnolia grandifore.Methods: The fatty acids were extracted by Soxhlet extraction,and GC-MS was used to analyze their components.Results: Twelve fatty acids and four phytosterol were identified from M.grandifore,amounting to 90.66% of the total constituents.The main components are oleic acid(23.41%),linoleic acid(22.68%),palmitic acid(16.29%),stearic acid(5.69%),9,19-Cyclolanost-24-en-3-ol(5.31%),3β-9,19-Cyclolanost-24-en-3-ol(1.06%),22,23-dihydro-Stigmasterol(2.24%) and 3β-Lanosta-8,24-dien-3-ol(8.89%).Conclusion: Unsaturated fatty acids were the main compounds in the fruit of M.grandifore.oleic acid and linoleic acid were the main fatty acids.
