Abstract

The Psidium guajava L.seed oil was extracted by Soxhlet extraction method,and its saponification value,acid value,and iodine value were determined.In addition,the fatty acid composition of the oil was analyzed by GC-MS.The results showed that the relative density,refractive index(25 ℃),acid value,saponification value,iodine value were 0.924 5,1.473 6,1.50 mgKOH/g,189.0 mgKOH/g and 135.7 gI/100 g,respectively.The main fatty acids were linolic acid,oleic acid,palmitic acid and stearic acid,and the content of unsaturated fatty acid reached to 83.49%,which had development prospect.
