滇东南石灰岩地区生态环境与圆叶乌柏的开发研究利用-张 帆(GC) . RESEARCH ON ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT AND SAPIUM ROTUNDIFOLIUM IN KARST AREA OF SOUTHEASTERN YUNNAN

Abstract

This paper takes Xichou cone karst area as an example to discuss the characteristics of ecological environment in karst area of southeastern Yunnan. We have analysed the physico-chemical features and the component fatty acid of seed oil of Sapium rotundifolium (Euphorbiaceae), a common wild tree in karst area. In Xichou, although the climate is wet, but limestone hill region has a low level of water-retention properties, "Ground layer dry" is one main character of natural environment, and water- soil erosion has become an important environmental problem. This tree, Sapium rotundifolium is fit nicely on limestone environment, has the high growing speed and high oil content of seed (43.02%) with many other uses. It is a great value to exploit and utilize in limestone area.
