Abstract Objective:To study the chemical components of volatile oil and fatty acid from the fruit of Capparis Spinosa L obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction. Methods:The volatile oil and fatty acid were extracted from the fruit of Capparis Spinosa L by supercritical carbon dioxide fluid extraction and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method. Results:Eleven kinds of fatty acids were detected, including oleic acid, linoleic acid and palmitic acid content of the total 94.81%;14 kinds of volatile oils were separated, which identified 13 kinds of compounds. Conclusion:The extraction from the fruit of Capparis Spinosa L obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide fluid is rich in a variety of active chemical composition, they can be applied to medicine, food and other industries.
