Abstract

The Elaeagnus mollis seed oil was extracted by Soxhlet extraction,and the oil yield was 32.50%.The oil was esterified and then analyzed by GC-MS.11 fatty acids were identified in Elaeagnus mollis seed oil.The relative content of saturated fatty acids was 8.70%,and the main components were palmitic acid and stearic acid.The relative content of unsaturated fatty acids was 91.30%,of which 9-octadecenoic acid and 9,12-octadecadienoic acid were main components.Branched chain acid and odd number carbon acid(12-methyl-tetradecanoic acid,heptadecanoic acid) were determined in Elaeagnus mollis seed oil.Elaeagnus mollis seed oil has a developing potential as a health oil resource.
