Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The fatty acid compositions of the seed oils of yellow sarson (Brassica trilocularis), brown sarson (Brassica campestris ssp. dichotoma) and taramira (Eruca sativa) grown in Pakistan were determined by gas chromatography. Characteristically high contents of docosenoic acid were observed. Compositions of the seed oils of some cruciferous species from other origins were examined for comparison. Other analytical characteristics have been determined. © 1982.
