Information is presented on the physical and chemical composition of the oil and flour obtained from acorns of the Spanish evergreen oak, which covers over 3 million ha. in Spain. The oil is suitable for cooking, and the flour for cattle food. Exploitation of 1 million ha. on a commercial scale is considered practicable.-Inst. Grasa Derivados, Seville.
