Fatty acid composition of seed oil from 14 species of the genus Lesquerella has been determined by gas-liquid chromatography. All but two species contain hydroxyeicosenoie acid in amounts ranging from 45 to 74%. The remaining two species contain about 50% C18 hydroxy acids, but none of the C20 hydroxy acid. © 1962, The American Oil Chemists' Society. All rights reserved.
