Oil-bearing plants of Zaire. I. Botanical families providing oils of relatively low unsaturation

Abstract

Data are tabulated on the oil content and fatty acid composition of seeds or kernels of 24 plant species, including pawpaws, jackfruit and breadfruit. Those of potential commercial interest are Irvingia gabonensis, Carapa guianensis and Terminalia catappa.
