3-Oxo-6-.beta.-hydroxyolean-12-ene (daluraolone), .beta.-sitosterol, lauric, myristic, palmitic, steric, linoleic, linolenic, arachidic and behenic acids were identified from the seed oil of D. quercifolia. The physicochemical characteristics of the seed oil are also reported.
