Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract Ten varieties of Camelina sativa were tested in 2 regions in Canada. The seed yield per acre was greater than that of flax or rape and the oil content ranged from 34.3 to 42%. The contents of various fatty acids, protein and fibre in the seeds are given. The crop matured 3-4 weeks earlier than flax, a great advantage in northern areas.
