The fatty acid composition of the seed oils of Euphorbia helioscopia, Croton bonplandianum, Chrozophora indica and Heliotropium eichwaldi, has been determined. Palmitic acid, arachidic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid were found in all the seed oils, whereas linolenic acid was present in the first three plants only. Behenic acid was found only in Heliotropium eichwaldi.
