Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The oil content of S. trifoliatus seed was 23% (w/w). The oil contained only one type of cyanolipid (a fatty acid diester of 1-cyano-2-hydroxymethylprop-1-ene-3-ol). The cyanolipid comprised 20% (w/w) of the total seed oil. This cyanolipid has been found in several other species of the genus.
