Rubber seed oil. Analysis and possible utilization

Abstract Rubber seed contains 45-50% oil; the oil contains 17-22% saturated fatty acids (palmitic, stearic and arachidic) and 77-82% unsaturated fatty acids (oleic, linoleic and linolenic). Physico-chemical properties are tabulated which indicate its potential for the drying oil and soap industry.
