Study of Spanish nut oils. Characteristics of hazelnut oils of different varieties from the province of Tarragona (1976 harvest)

Abstract

There was no significant difference in refraction index and iodine number between 23 samples of oil of different varieties of hazelnuts collected in Tarragona in 1976 and values given by other authors for hazelnut oil, except that linoleic acid was greater in the present samples.
