Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract Chrysophyllum albidum Don, the white star apple, is a tropical tree with edible fruit. The seed was dried and Soxhlet extracted, and the oil was analysed for its physicochemical characteristics and fatty acid composition. The aim was to consider the seed, which is normally wasted, as a source of vegetable oil for edible and/or industrial purposes.
