Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract The contents of aliphatic acids in the hippophae rhamnoides L. seed oil were determined by chromatography. The result shows the content of linolenic acid of hippophae rhamnoides L. seed oil is 18.5% and evidently higher than those of hippophae rhamnoides L. seed oil in the four seeds oils. Gamma-linolenic acid is the important material used for the synthesis of the prostaglandin E1 (PGE1). Meanwhile, hippophae rhamnoides L. seed oil is rich in VE and other nutritious materials.
