Untersuchungen Uber Die Inhaltsstoffe von Agrostemma githago L.

Abstract

Seeds of Agrostemma githago contain 5.8% fatty oil with 3.4% of unsaponifiable matter. Alkanes (C19-C33), Spinasterol, an esterified triterpene and an acyclic, isopropenoid ketone were isolated from the unsaponifiable matter. The composition of the fatty acids was determined by gas chromatography. Unsaturated fatty acids represent 41.4% of total fatty acids.
