A CONTRIBUTION TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHEMICAL CONTENT OF JUNIPERUS SPECIES FRUIT

Abstract

Arepresentatives of Juniperus sp. (Juniper) are wide spread on the all Yugoslav area and in country, human and veterinary medicine are frequently used, as partly or all plants. Fruits of Juniperus communis are official and in Yugoslavian Pharmacopeya (ph. Yug. III). In this work the authors determined exstractiv substances and eteric oils of the fruit i the main representatives of Yugoslavian Juniperuses. They determined its chemical characteristics of fhisical-chemic constantes. The determinations done under the regulations of yugoslavian pharmacopy and by thin level chromatography mode of proceeding.
