Estudio de los Esteroles del Aceite Extraido de la Semilla de Sarothamnus scoparius

Abstract

A study is made of the sterols contained in the oil extracted from the Sarothamnus scoparius. The sterolic fraction represents 9.86% of the unsaponifiable. Over the unsaponifiable, the sterols represents the following values: Cholesterol 0.44%, Campesterol 1.68%, Stigmasterol 0.98%, beta-sitosterol 6.69% and delta7-sigmastenol 0.07%.
