The Components of cockebur kernel oil was determined by gas liguid chromatograph in this naper. The fatty acids in cockebur kernel oil were 5.19 % nalmitic, 3.61 % stearic, 26.81 % oleic, 64 .19% tinoleic and 0.4 tinolenic acid The linoleic acid was prepared from cockebur kernel oil by saponification. acidification and low-temperature cryitallization.
