Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants. more details ...
Abstract Fatty acids of flowering tops of St John's wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) were investigated by means of CC/MS after isolation and conversion into methylesters. Twelve fatty acids have been identified, the most significant being palmitic (30.7%), linoleic (13%) and stearic (12.9%).
