Exploring Phylogenetic Relationships between Hundreds of Plant Fatty Acids Synthesized by Thousands of Plants.
more details ...
The seed oils from Paeonia japonica (Yamashakuyaku) in the case of frozen samples and freeze-drying ones were examined for compositions of fatty acid and sterol and compared each other. The fatty acid compositions were almost similar, and total amount of C18: l' c18:2 and c18:3 was found ca. 93- 94% The predominant sterols were sitosterol mastatrienol45.0%(frozen sample) and 39.7o/c(freeze-drying sample).
