Abstract The fixed oil from the seeds of Dolichos biflorus was extd. with petroleum ether. On removal of the solvent, a yellow-colored oil was obtained in a yield of 10%. The following acids were in the saponifiable portion: oleic acid 60.3, linoleic acid 18.5, linolenic acid 5.2, palmitic acid 6.98, and stearic acid 9.02%. Lupeol β-sitosterol was also found in the unsaponifiable portion of the oil
