The fatty acids composition of the seed oil of the Rosa rubiginosa L. (Mosqueta), has been determined through the fractional distillation of the solid and liquid acids methyl esthers. Linolenic and linoleic acids are the major components whereas palmitic, stearic, oleic, and myristic are the minor ones.
